Physician - General Pediatrician Job ID: R-37043 Job Type: Full time Location: Shawnee Mission, Kansas Save Job Saved Job Position Summary / Career Interest:Physician - General PediatricianThe University of Kansas Health System, Division of Pediatrics has a faculty position opening for a General Pediatrician, who will join the team to support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.This is a faculty position with 90% responsibilities for clinical service and 10% effort for educational and professional services as well as research and scholarship. The Faculty Clinical Track emphasizes professional service in clinical settings.The selected individual will be appointed at a Clinical Assistant Professor level within the Department, joining a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.About the position:Care for hospitalized patients. Outpatient medical care for patients after discharge and clinic responsibilities.Attend and participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and divisional meetings.Provide educational instruction in a clinical setting.Serve on departmental committees.Serve on KUMC committees.Benefits and compensation:Recent increase in overall compensation package.
