Our team is seeking a dynamic Senior FP&A Analyst in Grand Prairie, Texas This position will need someone that has a Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Environment: Location: office based position in Grand Prairie, TX Pace: constant changing targets and quick turnaround is essential due to shifting priorities, changing client needs and project specifications Demographic diversity: workforce enjoys a wide range of diversification associated with ethnicity, culture, position qualifications, socio-economic background, geographical differences, white & blue collar, etc. Success Factors: Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Creating and maintaining long-term and short-term financial forecasts, as well as preparing annual budgets. Variance Analysis: Comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, and explaining variances. Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. This includes supporting long-term business planning. Reporting: Preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders (e.g., CFO, department heads) and potentially external stakeholders, providing them with actionable insights. Data Analysis: Using financial data to assess business performance, profitability, and risks, often working with large datasets to provide meaningful analysis. Financial Modeling: Developing financial models to simulate different business scenarios, helping guide decision-making on potential investments, expansions, and projects. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments (such as operations, marketing, and HR) to gather data and ensure alignment between financial plans and business operations. Process Improvement: Suggesting and implementing improvements to financial processes, such as automation or more efficient reporting methods. Skills Required: Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles Expertise in financial modeling and analysis Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle) Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Experience in managing or mentoring junior analysts (at the senior level)
