The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, ensuring our data is accurate, secure, and easy to access. This role involves working closely with internal teams to meet client expectations and maintain consistent standards. You will also collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline data processes and improve efficiency. In this role, you will support various projects by conducting research, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with the development of presentations and client deliverables. Administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, tracking products, and vendor coordination, will also be part of your responsibilities. Strong relationship-building skills are important for working well with different team members and ensuring the success of projects.ResponsibilitiesHelp create and manage database systems, including data entry, cleaning, and manipulation.Implement data quality control procedures to ensure data accuracyProvide support to team members in accessing and retrieving data from the database.Work closely with vendor partners to gather and clarify detailed informationMonitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that ariseDevelop and implement data security protocols to protect sensitive informationExtract, analyze, and report on data to inform business decisionsGather and document program performance metrics for regular reporting based on client requirementsLearn about commercial furnishings and equipment based on customer-specific standardsDevelop an appreciation for design principles to all activities: function, balance, alignment, proportion, materiality, etc.Apply a strong attention to detail to all documentation and processes, ensuring accurate and complete informationBe open to asking questions, seeking help when needed and continuously learning.Skills/Qualifications Strong customer-service mindsetA curiosity and eagerness to learnAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent organization and time management skillsStrong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of database management tools and softwareIntermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite required, especially ExcelBasic knowledge of commercial furnishings and equipment preferredPrior knowledge of sustainability practices, an understanding of carbon footprint calculations and familiarity with sustainability certificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree or Associate of Arts from an accredited program. Prior experience will be considered in lieu of education.Degree focus in Interior Design or Interior Architecture a plus.3+ years of experience working with database systems
