The Packaging Planning Specialist will be responsible to for Planning the most optimal packaging layouts and die costing, keep the tooling library up to date and improving it for a multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world's most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world What you'll do as a Packaging Planning Specialist: Create the most optimal layouts for packaging designs Create digital files , saving and maintaining in tooling library Ensure the cost optimization of tooling , including the purchasing of new tools as needed Process dye work orders and files Review, convert and log NPI CAD Designs to our CMUSA Artios CAD design number inventory Maintain the schedule of die processing to align with press schedules Monitor and maintain all tool QA Communicate with internal teams to support tooling needs and translate them into production Confirm all package design testing via NPI approval Review and ensure quality with all corrugating details and palletization preparation Maintain Tooling library Continuously review and ensure the quality and clarity of the manufacturing instructions Ensure all tasks align with overall company objectives, and your assigned KPIs We're looking for a Packaging Planning Specialist with: 5 years of experience in a production environment, in packaging manufacturing - Required Knowledge of the Artios CAD system - Required Knowledge of graphic processes and equipment - Required Basic computer knowledge (SAP, office applications), with strong computer literacy Benefits a Packaging Planning Specialist Can Expect from Cartamundi: Competitive pay Climate controlled facility 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance starting day one HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Savings Account) Life insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Employee discounts on daycare, gym memberships, travel, and much more Physical requirements and working conditions: Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space.
