Job Summary Under general direction, this role performs administrative and clerical tasks that support a specific workflow within a business process. This role will bring a minimum of an intermediate level skill set to the Electric Transmission Lines Construction Business Unit while providing administrative support to Electric Transmission Construction senior management. Performs a variety of specialized clerical functions within a business process. This position will gain knowledge of department and company policies and procedures to accomplish processing of information, including but not limited to onboarding new employees (to include issuing and maintaining spreadsheets with laptops, iPad, MiFi's, docks, monitors, all laptop and cell phone accessories that have been issued to individuals), ET Orientation Coordinator, auditing of business procedures and process to ensure compliance, WB and Best Locks inventory. Troubleshooting any company issued IT device. This position is also the liaison with Safety in keeping up with certain required certifications. May support one or several related processes. Utilizes SAP Enterprise systems and Microsoft Office software products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to review/record, enter, store, and retrieve information. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with various administrative and professional employees within and outside the company. Identifies process improvement opportunities. Assists in submitting ITRCs for NERC and SAT Training. This position will also be a key player in IT related issues such as mapping drives, LMS, Key Card access, oversee installation and configuration of new systems. This position will cross-train in the areas of updating ET Construction contact list, fleet management, and chart updates. This position is a direct report to the Manager of Electric T&D Services and may provide occasional support to the Field Managers, Superintendents and Coordinators of Electric Transmission Construction. Will perform other administrative duties as requested or assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Level II: 2+ years general office experience; Level III: 5+ years general office experience. Intermediate knowledge of operation, maintenance, and technical construction applications preferred. Intermediate knowledge of OSHA safety standards preferred. Ability to follow standard business processes. Good oral and written communication skills, as well as good decision-making skills. Intermediate Computer skills and knowledge, including an ability to properly utilize SAP, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications. Intermediate knowledge using SAP, Share Point, and ability to learn customized software applications. Ability to apply technical writing skills, Good planning, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a demanding environment. Ability to interact with internal and external partners.
