Job Duties and Responsibilities As the Manager of our PAT team supporting Retail Wireless, you will lead a team of digital product testers, ensuring product quality and providing our design team with valuable customer experience feedback. The role involves developing testing strategies, setting testing criteria, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before releasing to production. Additionally, the PAT Manager will handle traditional people management responsibilities, including team development, performance evaluations, and resource planning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain testing strategies, criteria, and benchmarks to ensure product quality and compliance with business and regulatory standards. Oversee test plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PAT efforts with product development cycles. Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, communicating testing results, risks, and recommendations. Lead and mentor the PAT team, managing workloads and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Drive process improvements by adopting new tools and best practices, addressing bottlenecks, and enhancing efficiency. Monitor KPIs for quality and performance, conducting post-release reviews to improve future testing. Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Testing, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role Skills and Qualifications: Expertise in test strategies, including manual, automated, functional, regression, performance, and UAT testing. Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) with experience optimizing for team efficiency. Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, managing PAT efforts within iterative development cycles. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing PAT/UAT teams while managing relationships with key stakeholders. Skilled in risk management, decision-making, and conflict resolution in dynamic environments. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and adaptability to ensure quality and continuous improvement. The base pay range shown is a guideline.
