Task Manager (Federal Grants Programs) is a leader and project manager with experience in consulting, technical assistance, data collection and analysis, assessment, the Federal grants lifecycle, and project management. This role requires7+ years of experience in relevant tasks and direct experience managing a consulting team. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.ResponsibilitiesLeads a team in supporting justice grants programs in the area of performance measurement approaches and evaluation, data collection and analysis, technical assistancePerforms day-to-day management of contract support operations, ensures quality standards and work performance on all tasks, supports task execution, plans, organizes, and oversees work efforts, assigns resources, manages personnel, provides risk management, oversees quality management, monitors overall project, and contract performanceMaintains a trusted relationship by providing clear and consistent communication with client and contractor leadership on progressResponsible for the quality of work, personnel, and adherence to timeline and deliverablesCollaborate closely with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission resultsApply excellent research, analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clientsContribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and developRequired Qualifications7+ years of relevant job experience and knowledge of justice research, analysis, project management, assessment, and/ performance measures. Significant portion of work experience should be in justice mission areas (criminal, juvenile, and/or victim)Experience managing consulting projects for Federal government clients and collaborating with clients and stakeholders in complex environmentsExperience design of assessments, design and implementation of performance measurement systems, and strategic planningOutstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skillsExperience in grants management programs, and an understanding of the Federal grants lifecycleDirect experience with client and stakeholder engagement and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environmentStrong team builder and team player with an exceptional ability to manage competing prioritiesProven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyAbility to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-personClearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)/ability to obtain a security clearanceEducation: Bachelor's degree in relevant field requiredCritical skills: Project management, communication, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibilityApplying to the Company: Please tell us about your interests and background; we would be grateful Our competitive recruiting process favors candidates who include a short cover letter that highlights your interest in the company and role, relevant experience, and potential.Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $88,000 to $128,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs.
