summary Food manufacturing company in Vernon is need of a Director of Sales Job Duties: Secure new business to drive profitable Sales Growth and achievement of aggressive growth goals. Leverages an already strong understanding of fresh and frozen meat to enable immediate impact by finding great mutual fit opportunities and then articulating our value proposition. Establishes and implements strategic plan direction for the strategic accounts. Develops and executes Sales/Ops plan pertaining to volume, revenue, and profitability targets. Champions procedures to continuously improve the accuracy of the Demand Plan forecast. Manages and upgrades the mix and price for which products are sold. Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, QA, Supply Chain & Executive Management to ensure effective communication and problem solving; must work in coordination with all stakeholders for optimal outcomes for the Company and the customers. In-person selling to customer headquarters and regional decision makers, alike, Must be capable of selling on value (vs price). Must work collaboratively with our broker partners (where applicable).
