This leader ensures role standardization and clarity and serves as an expert care coordination resource to nurse managers, team leaders, social workers, educators, and the inter-professional team. Additionally, this leader manages strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and the coordination of multiple disciplines.This is the ideal role for an individual who is looking to be an influential leader at one of the world's top-ranked healthcare organizations. This leader will affect patient care and adherence to institute policies and standards. Opportunities exist for growth internally and through engagement at national conferences.A caregiver in this position has oversight of regional case management and utilization management. Travel to regional locations to meet with case management and utilization management teams and key stakeholders will be required.A caregiver who excels in this role, will:Oversee inpatient care management.Collaborate with the Associate Chief Nursing Officer to ensure enterprise-wide strategic approach.Develop enterprise goals and objectives consistent with medical, nursing, administrative, legal, regulatory, quality and ethical requirements of the healthcare delivery system.Cultivate business strategies to support and market patient-centered programs across the collaboration with institute directors, ensure nursing standards and best practices are realized, related to specific areas of responsibility.Provide leadership for development and oversight of processes and systems to enhance the patient experience.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex issues, recognize decision points and design and deliver creative solutions, while partnering with key members of the inter-professional team.Manage strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and the coordination of multiple disciplines.Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:BSN with master's degreeState of Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensureFive years recent clinical practice, to include three years of healthcare managementUnderstanding and knowledge of all departments and specialtiesDemonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in ambulatory nursing practiceExcellent oral and written communication and organization skills, analytical abilities and leadership skillsPreferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work autonomouslyExceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to build trust and command organizational respect.
