The Strategic Accounts Manager role based in Chattanooga, TN (will also consider remote) will play a key role in working with current and future large customers across our network. This role will be the primary customer interface for a defined portfolio of business. The generation of revenue growth within the portfolio will come through relationship building and management, knowledge of XGS services, and from the development of new accounts.What will you be doing as a management trainee at XGS?Develop new business opportunities with current and potential customers at all stages of the sales cycle to include targeting and prospecting, to meet portfolio revenue targetsPrepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of XGS’ solutions.Promote and leverage the XGS Value Proposition and Commercial Strategy to support profitable growth that meets or exceeds established sales goals.Work effectively with Operations, Customer Support, and other decision makers, to develop and implement successful onboarding and customer alignment.Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.Effectively manage large scale, complex contracts negotiations and close new business deals with potential customers, working closely with the Customer Implementation TeamAttend conferences and professional association meetings to promote XGS solutions and brand.Prepare and give business reviews and sales strategy presentations to the Commercial Team and Senior Leadership as needed.What is XGS looking for in a successful candidate for the trainee role?Flooring industry experience is preferredPreference for LTL, TL, Warehouse, Contract Logistics, and/or Managed Transportation sales experience5 - 7 years of strategic or national account sales experienceExcellent relationship building skills with internal and external partnersStrong communication, presentation, and influencing skillsExperience in designing and executing on a vertical strategy within a supply chain environmentStrong communication skills to articulate customer value being delivered during presentationsAnalytical knowledge of the US supply-chainWork requires local and national travel to current and potential clients 25 - 50%Additional Considerations:Will consider a remote candidateConsistently maintains excellent personal attendance recordsFrequently lift objects weighing up to 25 poundsClimb stairsSit for long periods of timeOccasionally stoop, kneel or crouchUse hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objectManual dexterity to operate a computer and other office machinesCorrectable vision and hearingClear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communicationWe are a company that stives to bring our people together for open collaboration, development and growth, regular celebrations while supporting and building stronger communities in which we serve.Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur.
