As a leader in children’s health, we engage in meaningful programs and partnerships throughout the region so that we can improve the lives of children beyond the walls of our hospital.Reporting to the Director of Operations and Population Health Management, the 'Program Manager, Operations & Population Health Management' is responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of projects that support and advance the operations and population health management strategies of Children's Mercy Integrated Care Solutions (ICS) and Children's Mercy Hospital (CMH). The Program Manager leads and supports population health management work related to multiple quality/cost improvement initiatives and programs. Responsibilities include identification of meaningful quality/cost improvement opportunities, performing data collection and analyses, supporting project teams through the quality/cost improvement process (i.e. PDSAs, iterative improvement cycles & feedback, etc.), designing and producing quality/cost reports, and assessing and articulating the impact of specific quality/cost improvement interventions to internal and external leadership. Role utilizes project management expertise to develop and implement project plans to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved on time and according to specification. The Program Manager utilizes all components of project management, such as identifying resource requirements, defining project deliverables, meeting training needs, monitoring and measuring program progress, coordinating tasks and workflow, and ensuring effective communication among project participants, inclusive of both internal and external stakeholders as applicable. The Program Manager is responsible and accountable for each assigned initiative, seeking input and feedback from leadership and applicable stakeholders to ensure each project is delivering value and advancing ICS/CMH strategies.At Children’s Mercy, we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed within our walls. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.- Describe Essential Function: Support and lead operations and population health management projects for all leaders within ICS based upon mutually agreed upon prioritization. Role requires accountability to all projects and the leaders associated with those projects. The Program Manager creates, maintains, and monitors ICS/CMH project work plans that are responsive to organizational resources, project budgets, and project deliverables and expectations. Ensures that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and expectations. The Program Manager is responsible for facilitation, communication, and collection of appropriate stakeholder input or feedback as applicable. The Program Manager identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of all projects.2.Describe Essential Function: Perform data analytics, design analytical tools/resources, and develop and generate new and existing reports to support quality/cost improvement. The Program Manager is accountable for the quality and accuracy of data analytics, reports, etc. and works with applicable stakeholders to communicate outcomes and/or modify analyses as applicable.- Describe Essential Function: Assist and support ICS leadership and staff in program identification, development, and prioritization of quality, cost, population health management, and/or operations improvement initiatives. Includes ongoing self-learning to advance population health management knowledge and expertise.Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience 5 or more years experience in performance improvement, project management, and/or population health management. The pay range for this job begins at $37.71/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
