This will include how to operate the facility and events through a variety of disciplines like: Set-up and teardown of events, event management, housekeeping, scheduling, recruitment, budgeting, capital projects, and inventory.This role will pay an hourly wage of $12.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until December 31, 2024.Assist in scheduling personnel and tasks for day-to-day operations as well as event set-up, event management, and event teardownShadow Operations Supervisors to gain an understanding of how to manage, direct, and motivate Operations crew before, during, and after an eventShadow Department Heads and others upon request to gain understanding of tasks each perform Informative training with buffer, rider sweepers / scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, forklifts and other various equipmentLearn about the Operations Budget and Capital Expenditure Budget, with how to submit a request for proposal, receive bids, and input invoicesAssist with several misc. projects that you will see to completionSupervise crews setting up for events using folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, staging and drapesComprehend and communicate clear instructions for event sets upsRecruit and assist Operations team members through scheduling interviews by phone call through excellent customer serviceHelp maintain equipment inventory numbers and assist in ordering suppliesPerform other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalentSome completed college course work with emphasis in event management, sport management, facility management, or similar fieldAbility to work days, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed, as well as some laborious hoursHandle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlinesMust have demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while upholding a positive attitudePossess superior interpersonal and communication skillsProficient with computers in a Windows format and experience in Word, Excel,and OutlookDetail oriented, self-motivated, and ability to work independentlyAble to lift up to 50 pounds, when necessaryDesire to learnAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
