Exposure to design/build is highly preferred. Must be physically located in the Lexington, KY office.The new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. If you are a high achiever striving to exceed expectations in a fast-paced innovative company, then Gray is the place for you.What we expect… (Essential Functions)Reviews data and blueprints to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists of cost estimates.Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, change order pricing, vendors or subcontractors agreement, and determining cost effectiveness.Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.Consults with customers, subcontractors, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime will be required.
