Salary $60,000 yearTitle: Public Engagement CoordinatorClassification: ExemptScope of PositionManage the PA CareerLink® Philadelphia’s public facing platforms, accounts, phone lines, and emails to ensure high quality, relatable, and informative services are provided. Oversee the PA CareerLink® Philadelphia toll free line and email account to ensure accurate reporting, analysis of trends, and ongoing improvement of information available. Deliver PA CareerLink® Philadelphia information to various community locations, physical events, and virtual events. Meet with Philadelphia Works, Inc for social media and communications content strategy planning and represent the System Wide Team in various meetings. Supervise the 833 Navigator team and ensure they receive regular performance reviews. Meet with other System Wide Supervisors to coordinate efforts to support the PA CareerLink® system. Complete project management for custom requests from Philadelphia Works, Inc.Essential FunctionsDisseminate information on available job opportunities to community-based organizationsCoordinate ongoing, consistent communication lines from System-Wide Services Director to CareerLink® Navigators so they are well informed of all current PA CareerLink® services and programsResponsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the state system of record, CWDS, as well as the team-wide reporting platform. Data capture is a daily responsibility.Ensure that the 833 line is properly staffed with the required in-person capacity on a daily basisImplement project management skills, tools, and methodsComplete leadership tasks including interviews, performance reviews, and feedback sessions with FacilitatorsDemonstrate a flexible, fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvementContinuously update resource guide and reference lists for points of contact based on service, center, and customer category for the teamSupport digital media strategy and tasks as assigned by Philadelphia Works, Inc.Attend meetings that review the launch of any new service, innovation, or new program within PA CareerLink Philadelphia’s system and relay message back to the team using recap notes and team meetingsMonitor and report on team success indicators, develop improvement plans and facilitate cross-training on best practicesOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience RequirementsExperience in business, sales, communication, training, and/or community buildingExperience in a team-oriented environmentBachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area is preferredKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsPosition is fully in-officeMust be comfortable with local travel and have access to reliable transportationMaintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate project needs
