Administers the training bidding system for all Crewmembers, Instructors and contract Flight Attendants. Analyzes and evaluates complex training schedule issues and provides recommendations for resolution.Builds and produces scenarios based on awards by using the automated training bidding systems. Creates and administers monthly training courses and events through the automated bid awards. Runs reports after training bidding period to evaluate Crewmember training needs and availability. Executes a comprehensive and cost effective training schedule while complying with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Company requirementsAnalyzes and resolves complex scheduling matters as it relates to training. Ensures that all solutions are in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), all labor agreements, and company policy. Monitors training flow to ensure that all crewmembers are assigned the appropriate training events in accordance to the Flight Operations Training Manual.Utilize working knowledge of scheduling technology as a tool to solve planning and scheduling problemsParticipate with the Fleet Managers and Director of Training Center Operations in the development of scheduling forecasts. Determine monthly Training Instructor and Check Airmen staffing requirements. Schedules Instructors, according to qualifications for all training devices, including but not limited to full flight simulators, fixed based simulators, classrooms as well as emergency equipment.Coordinates with Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations leadership and other related departments to communicate training progress, currency and availability to ensure crewmembers are legal for flight assignments. Responsible for handling, preventing and resolving de-qualification issues when they occurPerform daily updates of scheduling data as required in Airline Information Management System (AIMS) to compensate for changing conditions and training completion ratesResponsible for crewmember training notifications through AIMSGenerates crewmember training reports while also monitoring/tracking ground and simulator training. Monitor crewmember and instructor schedules to meet days off requirements and avoid rest violationsPerforms other duties assigned simultaneously by the Director, Training Center OperationsMinimum of four (4) years of Airline Scheduling or related experience requiredMinimum of two (2) years experience with specific crew management software application. Experience using Airline Information Management System (AIMS) is a plus Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) DiplomaBachelor’s degree is preferred Thorough knowledge of the Atlas/Southern Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) is a must. Detail oriented and possess the ability to prioritize duties under pressure Strong communication and decision making skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to function in a high-stress environmentMust be able to work effectively in a collaborative team based environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and special projects assigned simultaneously Special demands:Must be flexible and able to work various hours and weekends.Skills:Must possess the personal integrity and administrative skills to gain the confidence of the crewmember work force.
