As a member of the Total Rewards Team, this role assists with data entry, reporting, and system maintenance to ensure integrity of processes, data, and compliance in all areas of Total Rewards, including compensation, benefits, payroll and human resource information system. As needed this role will be assigned special assignments to achieve team goals and enhance the efficiency and automation of our processes. This position interacts frequently with various other members of the Human Resource department as well as third-party vendors.CompensationMaintain HRIS validation tables for job titles, pay grades, and other compensation data.Provide regular updates to compensation planning system.Support team on projects and special assignments as needed.BenefitsProcess benefit-related contributions (FSA, HSA, etc) post-payroll, ensuring timely funding of employees’ accounts.Validate and reconciliation benefit invoices.Reconcile benefit premium collection for employees on leaves of absence.Monitor system communications for successful transmissions.Perform routine quarterly audits of benefit programs for accuracy of enrollment rules and data between third-party vendors.Support benefit enrollment process.Support team on projects and special assignments as needed.PayrollEnter employee changes into the HRIS.Provide regular reporting to business leaders.Complete reconciliations of data for accuracy.Monitor progress of payroll deadlines and assist in meeting them timely.Assist with tracking and resolution of tax issues.HRISMaintain complete, accurate, and up to date employee data in the HRISAssist in system maintenance and routine updates. GeneralCoordinate leaves of absences between local HR teams and the Total Rewards Team.Manage requests and communications for the team.Support team on projects and special assignments as needed.RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.1 - 3 years of administrative experience is preferred.Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, and filing and compliance requirements, is preferred.Qualifications:This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to complete routine tasks and data entry efficiently and accurately, and completing various reconciliation and reporting requirements.A successful Total Rewards Specialist will desire to seek out improvements and automation of processes.Must possess strong communication skills as the role interacts with all levels of the organization and third-party vendors.Must possess a strong sense of urgency.Must be a self-starter, takes initiative and ownership, and is an effective independent contributor and team player.Demonstrates professionalism and maturity to handle sensitive/confidential information.Ability to function with minimal supervision is key with this position for work content as well as virtual work environment.Agility, sound judgment, independent thinking, follow-through, and initiative.Strong organizational skills necessary.Proficiency with computers, Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and HR systems, experience in ADP Workforce Now a plus.Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands.Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilitiesDecision-Making Level/Position Latitude:Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.Latitude to direct work-day and identify or gaps in service and develop short term plans to fill gap.Larger project and capital and resource expense decisions are not made by this role.Physical Demands:This is a remote position, with the ability to work from home.Work is in a typical office environment; prolonged sitting is required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the office to attend meetings, deliver items, gather supplies, set up meetings, etc. Lifting to 20 lbs. occasionally.Possible travel to US sites.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers.
