StepStone Family & Youth ServicesUnder the supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for tasks related to the overall operations of the StepStone Program as well as ensures compliance of accreditation guidelines. This position is responsible for the supervision of trainers, administrative staff, and administrative supervision of case managers.Performs as a clinical representative of the agencyReviews and processes all referrals for possible admissions within the agencyFollows up on all referrals received and collaborate with foster parent recruiters/trainers to identify appropriate home for placementRequests and secures all documentation received to complete placement/admission of a child/youth with the agency needed at intakeAssigns a case manager to all child/youth in agency populationConducts program team meetings and other outside organizational meetings sponsored by the state, surrounding counties, managed care providers or foster care networksSupervises tasks completed by the site office coordinatorKeeps office and work area in a neat and organized mannerMaintains confidential information related to children/youth in care and foster parents licensed with StepStoneAssists with quarterly file audits of child/youth files and utilizes information obtained to improve compliance and quality of child/youth fileMinimum of MSW, MSSW, OR CSW; LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, MFTA, or LMFT in addition to degree requirementsAt least a B.A. or B.S. in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or Human Services with five years relevant experience to agency clientele, education, and related training can be substitutedFamilarity with agency intake/placement procedures and guidelines, necessary forms, and standard intake proceduresKnowledge of standard state rules and regulations regarding child-placing agentsAbility to coordinate and maintain client files and agency formsStrong computer software and program skillsStepStone Family and Youth Services provides the full spectrum of support to children in need of alternative, safer and more positive living environments with residential and family services.
