I will do things the right way.” Dr. Felton started his own dental practice so he could create the unique work environment he wanted We provide a wide variety of comprehensive dental services are all available under one roof and we have a celebratory atmosphere when a treatment plan is completed and the patient is happy.We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations of the dental office. You will manage appointments, handle administrative duties, and provide assistance to patients, helping them feel comfortable and welcome.As a Front Office staff member, you play an important role in our office and perform a wide range of responsibilities, to include but not limited to:Greeting Patients: Welcome patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and address their needs promptly.Appointment Scheduling: Manage the office’s calendar by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments via phone, email, or text.Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Register new and existing patients, ensure all required forms are completed, and verify insurance information.Insurance Verification: Contact insurance companies to verify patient benefits, eligibility, and coverage prior to treatment.Billing and Payments: Collect payments, process co-pays, and provide information on treatment costs, insurance claims, and payment plans.Phone and Email Management: Answer phone calls and emails professionally, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate team member.Record Maintenance: Maintain and update patient records in the office management software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.Office Support: Assist with other administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.Customer Service: Address patient concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely manner, and escalate issues to the office manager or dentist as required.Experience: Prior experience in a dental or medical office is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency with dental office management software (e.g., Open Dental) or the ability to quickly learn new software.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus.Personal Qualities: Friendly, patient-focused, team player with a positive attitudeIn return for providing an excellent patient experience, we offer a great benefits package to include health and dental benefits, 401(k), holiday pay and paid time off.2024-13394
