Under general supervision, the Desktop Support Specialist will provide a broad range of services and guidance to a rapidly growing anesthesia management practice. This position requires a self-motivated Desktop Support Specialist who consistently demonstrates excellent judgment, solution-oriented attitude, and proactive service delivery to meet the needs of LifeLinc’s daily operational demands as it pertains to technology as a critical resource. This individual will focus on service excellence and innovative technology solutions.Facilitate service calls to resolution.Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.Provide top tier customer service and be diligent to resolve issues in a timely manner.Install applications and computer peripherals when necessary.Ask targeted questions to diagnose user problems.Communicate on a level that most users will understand as it pertains to technology.Conduct remote troubleshooting as required and/or requested.Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions as required.Test alternative pathways until an issue has been successfully resolved.Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.Record technical issues and solutions in logs and/or ticketing systems.Direct unresolved issues to the next level of IT support personnel as required in a timely manner.Always follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional and/or if any other issues need to be addressed.Report customer feedback and potential product requests.Help create technical documentation and manuals.High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certifications preferred1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support roleKnowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems for both Mac and PC platforms, Knowledge of Microsoft 365Experience with remote support tools and techniquesBasic networking troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with ticketing systems and related processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong customer service and communication skills
