They are responsible for welcoming the patients when they visit the practice and for scheduling appointments for both new and current patients.We are looking for people who are: FlexibleCommittedImprovement focusedTeam focusedFunCuriousRelationship focusedListeners who relate with peopleSelf-StartersEager to learn new skillsEssential Job Functions:Welcome patients as they enter the practiceAnswer phones and greet patientsScheduling appointments for both new and current patients and answering any questions they may have about their upcoming appointmentsAssist in opening and closing the practice everyday with other members of the teamTake payments and assist in verifying insurance, if neededServe as the 'face' and the 'voice' of the practiceEssential Job Skills:Communicates effectively and respectfully to patients, Doctor and teamMust have strong organizational skills and ability to multitaskAbility to demonstrate reliability and responsiveness to patients and teamGeneral knowledge and understanding of front office and administrative dutiesDisplays strong interpersonal skills and has a customer service mindsetPlease note: this job description is not designed to cover a comprehensive list of duties or responsibilities that are required for this position.
