Job Title: Survey Technician Job Description Looking for an experienced Survey Technician to support drafting and design efforts for a land development civil engineering firm. This role offers a hybrid schedule and can sit out of offices in the person or Woodinville. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a survey technician, be proficient in AutoCAD, and possess comprehensive knowledge of state survey standards. Responsibilities: Process field notes, sketches, checklists, and digital data Drafting in AutoCAD from survey data Research legal and survey records to obtain information about property boundaries, including: deeds, easements, vacations, dedications, Right of Ways, etc. Perform topographic mapping and construction staking Produce Record of Surveys, A.L.T.A. surveys, Short Plats, Long Plats, Final Plats, Final Condominium Plats, Boundary Line Agreements, Boundary Line Adjustments, easement exhibits, and any document required for project completion. Resolve boundaries using accepted boundary and legal principles and case, state, and federal laws Hard Skills AutoCAD proficiency Minimum 5 years of experience as a survey technician Comprehensive knowledge of state survey standards Topographic mapping Construction staking Legal and survey records research Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Woodinville, Washington and some days remote.
