A major Medical Facility in Melville, NY seeks a Clinical Research Associate. This is a full-time position and isonsite 5 days a week.Summary of Responsibilities:Perform all aspects of multi-center clinical trial coordination, including working with the Institutional Review Board and industry sponsors to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and policies for conducting clinical trials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Learns and understands protocol-specific procedures. Work with patients, physicians, and other services Work with industry sponsors Coordinate IRB submissions for research projects Mentor other members Coordinate submissions of abstracts and design posters for conference presentation Review and summarize scientific literatureEducation and Work Experience: Bachelors Degree Required: Master, RN o MBBS preferred. CCRC preferred At least 2 years of research trial coordination experience is required (oncology, cardiology, pulmonary, and critical care experience preferred).Skills and Knowledge: Strong written and oral communication skills with a background in medicine/ or biomedical science. Publication experience is preferred.
