Follow the attorney's work closely to ensure all deadlines and legal requirements are met. Provide support for commercial construction litigation cases. Maintain organization and proper documentation of all case files. Coordinate with attorneys in Georgia as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on litigation (5 years preferred). Organizational and Multi-tasking skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in legal research and document review. Document review and summarization. Drafting discovery requests or pleadings. Filing pleadings with the appropriate court. Organizing and maintaining document productions. Reviewing document productions. Creating case chronologies. Preparing evidence and or exhibits for trial arbitration/mediation. Scheduling court reporters, process servers, etc. Proofread Attorney work. Running conflict checks. Preparing billings and invoices. Communicating with clients, other attorneys and court staff. Opening new matters. Preparing exhibits for depositions.
