Position SummaryReporting to the Executive Director of Strategy Initiative of the Center for Innovative Exposomics (CIE), with a dotted line to the Program Manager, the incumbent will independently and proactively support complex projects involving multiple teams and institutions. They will also support the day-to-day operation of the center.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will independently and proactively support complex projects involving multiple teams and institutions. They will also support the day-to-day operation of the particular, the incumbent will:Support the coordination of complex multiple-team multi-institution collaborations related to projects grants-funded in CIE, including supporting the scheduling of complex meetings, the monitoring of timelines, and the delivery of materials.Support the communication efforts, including supporting website content updates, maintaining contact lists, supporting the development of marketing of materials, and the creation of presentations for meetings, events, and conferences.Support the coordination of events organized by the Center, such as symposiums and workshops.Support the coordination of sample acquisition.Oversee the collection of documents such as MTAs (Memorandums of Transfer Agreement)Perform general administrative functions, and related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.Assist with project tracking and timelines.The position is based in-person in Washington Heights, NYC.This is a grant-funded position.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus 2 years of related experience.Preferred QualificationsCandidates with research grant experience will be viewed as competitive.Experience with federally funded grants and higher education institutions is strongly recommended.Demonstrated achievement in project management, organizational, and follow-through skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, close attention to detailHigh degree of proficiency with computer software (Microsoft software applications, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Teams, SharePoint, Drupal, and project management tools) and ability to quickly learn new program.Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, experience interacting with all levels of faculty, management, and staffAbility to manage multiple programs and initiatives and prior experience collaborating on grantAbility to work in a team setting with minimal supervision.Ability to set priorities handle multiple tasks and follow through on the completion of projects and responsibilities are essential.
