Job Description Responsibilities / Key Jobs to be Done Key Skills Craft vision and roadmap for the One J&J / Innovative Medicine design system, aligned to business goals, user needs and quality Align standards and governance to One J&J (parent) / Innovative Medicine (child) model. ('One J&J design system to rule them all') Shape the scope to scale effectively to additional TAs and content types Establish a quality assurance framework for how the system is built, maintained and used in accordance with One J&J change management and governance Test components to ensure they are built with usability and accessibility best practices and inherit accessible, tested patterns from One J&J Drive user-centricity and ensure the system is user-friendly, oversee documentation for use and trainings for designers and developers Measure success by defining and tracing key metrics to measure the design system's impacts (ex. accessibility, efficiency and consistency) Gather feedback and iterate to identify areas of improvement and evolve with the changing needs Inherit new accessible components from One J&J design system and push new components to One J&J We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web and mobile applications Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms Preferred technical experience (Figma REQUIRED) (e.g., Figma and Adobe Suite); nice to have technical experience (e.g., Jira, Invision, Zeplin, HTML, JS, CSS, Material UI, React-JS, Bootstrap) Experienced in in designing systems and tools to enable customer interactions and collaboration (e.g., digital self, precision marketing, DAM, immersive technology) Product / Digital Expertise Experience in underlying conceptual models based on human-centered design principles to deliver a fully aligned, context-driven experience Foundational skills (at minimum) in Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation and Emerging Technology Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile Product Development setting Creates a culture that relentlessly focuses on helping people and organizations we touch Focuses on Business agility, Agile delivery with a fail-fast mindset, & measurable outcomes Commitment to Our Credo, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (who we are and what we believe) by ensuring we are attracting, developing and retaining talent that reflect the communities our teams serve Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process, all with a focus on the end user Creative problem solving and analytical skills with ability to synthesize ideas into tangible solutions for design Sees value in taking an iterative design approach and proactively advocates for the end user null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
