LHH is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Accountant with a solid, manufacturing client on the West side. This role will work directly with the VP of Finance during a transition period. Company recently went through a system implementation and still working out some of the kinks from that in accounting.The role will mostly be working onsite so NO fully remote candidates need to applyOverall Functions:Oversee the GL area - JEs, reconciliations, sub-ledger transactions, reporting, analysis Assist and involved with the monthly close proceduresPreparation of consolidated financial statementsHelp with 'clean-up' areas from recent IFS system implementation, implementation didn't go that well so still some areas needing to be resolved ie: chart of accounts wasn't created correctly, some manual accounting might need to be done during the clean-upWork directly with the Staff Accountant, no supervision requiredAssist with other related accounting tasks as neededWe are looking for (key requirements/preferences):Bachelor's Degree - Accounting; CPA a+ or some public accounting experience5+ years of general accounting experience; strong working knowledge of the GL and close areasComplex reconciliationManufacturing industry experience highly preferredStrong systems experience working with larger ERPS - IFS software a big plus, company recently implemented IFS and still dealing with some problem areas from the implementationSomeone who's not afraid to jump in and help out, 'roll up your sleeves' type of person - able to deal with some chaos and still get the work completed on timePlease email your resume to to discuss furtherPay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hourSearch managed by: Dan Olchowy Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
