This may be a perfect opportunity for you.The Accounts Payable Coordinator functions within the Finance Department to complete activities related to account payables. Accountable for all payments of goods and services necessary for the operation of Fleet Farm Stores and Store Support Center.Fleet Farm Store Support Center offers a hybrid work arrangement for most positions. Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies working closely with stores and the warehouse.Review and reconcile pricing discrepancies working closely with internal staff.Develop and Maintain professional relationships with vendors and handle all inquiries inside and outside of the organization.Monitor all account payable payments and ensure compliance to company policies.Work with Deals for vendors -entering deductions or creating invoices to bill back working closely with internal staff.Understand Accounts Receivable side of the business working to collect Deals and handling write offs.Work with supplier's credit balances.Handle daily check deposits -making copies, scanning detail, coding checks and reconciling within the system.Perform month end responsibilities.Education/Experience:An Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university, or equivalent years of experience. Strong analytical capabilities with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement.Ability to execute established company policies and procedures and maintain an effective system of internal control.Functions at a high level when working independently or in a group.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.Must be flexible, organized and able to work accurately under time constraints and deadlines.Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint with previous exposure to ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
