Roving Property Maintenance Technician $25/hr. + Mileage reimbursement Metro West Denver Territory Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with an hour lunch break Job Description: We are seeking highly motivated and versatile Roving Property Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and upkeep of multiple properties within our portfolio. As a roving technician, you will utilize your own transportation and your own tools to travel between properties, addressing maintenance issues promptly and effectively. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential improvements. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and appliance servicing. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property managers or tenants, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and severity. Handle emergency maintenance situations, including after-hours calls, to resolve issues swiftly and minimize property damage. (Will be on call 1 week every 3 weeks) Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations beyond the scope of in-house capabilities. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and expenses incurred. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed to ensure readiness for future tasks. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with property residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of property maintenance services. Utilize computer technology to track and maintain work orders at different properties. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade experience preferred. 1+ years' experience of proven experience in property maintenance, with proficiency in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as this position requires frequent travel between properties all over the Metro West Territory. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays, especially in response to emergency maintenance situations. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as needed.
