Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital, Responsible for pullingproducts for cases as assigned. Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levelsare optimized to support department demands.ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions asneeded2. Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products toassure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care3. Identified excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits4. Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory5. Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from theinventory management system6. Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars7. Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed8. Works with and follows instructions of buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator in the event of recalls to pullrelevant products9. Other duties as assigned by management Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Required Licensure and Certifications:For any positions that include driving a company vehicle, ValidDriver’s License is required.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilitiesand Training:Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, summarizing analysis inreports with minimal supervisionStays on task and meets deadlinesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookBasic knowledge of Lawson systemKnowledge of automated ERP systems and processesAbility to process and present data clearly
