In this role, you will develop expert knowledge and skillsaboutour products, programs and services.OurSales Associate role is asteppingstonefor you to be a part of the new generation of sales talent here atBenjamin Moore andwill ultimately prepare you to move up into a Territory Sales Representative role.The ideal candidate will need to be willing and abletorelocatewithin a designated region once a Territory Representative rolebecomes available.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend internal and external product and sales trainingLearn all aspects of the paint and coatings industry by working alongside professionalsin R&D, Marketing, Sales Operations, Manufacturing & Distribution, Color and Design, and independent retailer locationsParticipate in market-wide selling eventsand professional networking eventsApply paints and coatings to various substrates and learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot product performance issuesSupportTerritory Reps in meeting their sales goals by calling on lower-volume customers tosell inproducts and programsSupport Training Team by assisting in architectural and industrial product trainingBe a true Brand Ambassador by living the Benjamin Moore vision and valuesRequired SkillsAble and willing to relocate withina designated region, to be identified at time of interviewMust be available for up to 75% travel, sometimesovernight, to attend training and other eventsValid driver's license and a good driving recordA four-year college degreepreferred, or a combination of college andcustomer-facingwork experienceVery strong verbal, written and listening communication skillsExcellent relationship management and team interaction skillsFriendly, outgoing, confident and enthusiasticSelf-starter, committed to the task and independent workerDemonstratedpassion for servicing customers and creating solutionsComfortable speaking in front of small to medium sized groups in a professional settingDesire to developsales skills and product knowledgeGood computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); position will require that the candidate learn to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM platformStrong work ethic with a commitment to building a career pathCompensation PhilosophyAt Benjamin Moore, our brand represents excellence, and we strive to provide a comprehensive total rewards package to match.
