PLS was founded in 1997 by Bob and Dan Wolfberg, who serve as Co-Presidents.Position Overview:Successful Motor Vehicle Shift Supervisors are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives, sales, and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor performs all the duties of a Customer Service Representative plus assists the Assistant Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, and in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, is responsible for directing the activities of all employees.Job Responsibilities:Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and establishing special business relationships with our customers so they will choose to do business with us rather than our competitorsAssisting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectivesAssisting the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store employees who exceed internal and external customer expectationsEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsProviding service to customers in obtaining motor vehicle titles, registrations, permits, and any other motor vehicle services Ability to learn and apply Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Department “ADOT MVD” rules, regulations, processes, and proceduresEstablishing a strong customer service/selling culture to maximize salesWorking as a Customer Service Representative and supervising CSR activities in the absence of the Store Manager, including but not limited to transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling proceduresMarketing within your community to increase market share and store revenuesResolving customer complaints for increased customer satisfactionAssisting the Store Manager with controlling labor hours, cash, store audits, and shrinkageHelp maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and employeesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:A minimum of one year of management experienceDriving record must be in good standingHigh school diploma or GED equivalentKnowledge of level 1 inspection, vehicle registration and renewal, and other motor vehicle services.
