Facility Support Engineer - Electrical Location: Onsite, Irving TX Contract on W2 We are seeking a skilled and experienced CE Tech Level 1/2 to support electrical infrastructures across our datacenter campus, which ranges from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building management systems (EPMS), Remote Power Panels (RPP), and be well-versed in critical electrical procedures such as Power Interruption Testing (PIT), master controller shutdowns, and replacements. Key Responsibilities: Complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description. Support electrical infrastructures in datacenter environments, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and system integrity. Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns while ensuring Critical Load is maintained through one source (N). Execute PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements and other critical tasks. Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and participate in master controller shutdowns or replacements. Utilize a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code in all work. Provide daily support for building management systems (EPMS) within the datacenter. Preferred Qualifications: Qualified Electrical Worker certification. Previous datacenter experience. Required Qualifications: OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 5+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center). Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and varied work weeks. Work Schedule: Regular business hours (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for shifts as needed.
