Our federal client is seeking an Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to join their team. This is a W2 contract and will be a hybrid schedule in Alexandria, VA (1-2 days a week onsite). Job Title: Analytics Practitioner (M&E) Location: Alexandria, VA Pay Range: $60-$65/hr What's the Job? The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) specialist will be responsible for supporting the M&E Unit by building and implementing performance measurement plans and building M&E capacity of stakeholders. This role will regularly develop theories of change, indicators, and data collection tools, and manage data entry. This role will be responsible for working with stakeholders from various agencies to develop and implement performance measurement plans to yield analytical insights. This role will also represent the M&E Unit in coordination meetings. What's Needed? Requirements: 1) Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Social Science, Public Policy, Public Health, Advanced Analytical Methods, Statistics, Management, International Development. 2) Must have at least 2 years of working experience (full-time) as a Monitoring and Evaluation expert carrying out tasks such as: -Building M&E capacity -Development of logic models/theories of change -Development of indicators to measure progress towards results -Setting indicator targets -Development of data collection tools -Analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicator data -Reporting results of M&E analyses to project implementers. 3) Excellent writing skills 4) Excellent organizational skills 5) Cross-cultural communication skills 6) Experience with data visualization 7) Ability to work in a team and independently If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
