Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Inbound and Outbound teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator Location: Irvine, CA (On-site twice a week) Pay Range: $23/hr. - $26.25/hr. depending on experience Work Schedule: Part Time (30 hours/week) Hybrid: 2 days a week in office 9am - 1pm Monday and Thursday Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8am - 2pm. Duration : October 2024 - Mid March 2025 What's the Job? Process and manage orders and other logistics documents, including data entry of order details, pricing assessment, scheduling through various 3PL partners, and delivery confirmations. Perform inbound data entry into ERP, confirm inbound shipping document accuracy, input and manage inbound schedule, and notify 3PL partners of inbound details and schedule weekly. Enter customer PO data into ERP, issue shipment order for each customer PO entered to 3PL warehouses for scheduling, follow-up with 3PL for order accuracy and shipment schedule, and maintain communication with customer to inform order progress. Confirm mode of transportation for each order, appoint carrier for each outbound shipment order, confirm shipped and delivered status with 3PL carrier, and enter trucking cost data for review and assessment. Maintain inventory-related data entry for review and monthly maintenance, maintain spreadsheet of inventory details, and enter warehousing cost data for review and assessment. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in business or equivalent is preferred. Working knowledge of data processing in logistics or a similar nature is preferred. Working knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
