Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are looking for 2 skilled Machinists to support our programs and machining operations. The Machinists will be responsible for working from blueprints, drawings, and route sheets. You will set up machines, make edits to existing programs, and handle the planning, layout, fabrication, and assembly of complex production machined parts as well as highly complex prototype research and development machined parts. This role requires the ability to perform calculations necessary to determine starting points or setup of numerically controlled machines. You will be setting up and programming all types of CNC and manual machine shop equipment, including 4, 5, and 6 Axis CNC and Manual Milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, bench grinders, shapers, planers, horizontal and vertical boring mills, and jib boring machines. Experience with Unigraphics UG software is not necessary. Your work will involve quality machining of materials such as titanium, copper, brass, tool steels, various stainless steels, magnesium, nickel, plastics, epoxy fibers, and others. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, Alabama. Work Environment Machine shop within an Aerospace manufacturing and Engineering company. Work hours are Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 5 AM, with some weekend work as needed. Training will be provided during day shifts.
