SUMMARY The Systems Administrator's role is to install, monitor, and maintain servers and services running in the organization's data centers and Microsoft 365 environments. The Systems Administrator will respond to support tickets, monitor and respond to system generated alerts, carry out regular server maintenance, and assist project teams as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to effectively troubleshoot issues of moderate complexity, and demonstrate a high attention to detail. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES Monitor and maintain existing server systems and applications, respond to and resolve system alerts. Administration of Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online user licenses, mailboxes, and access requests. Management of Active Directory Users, Computers, Groups, and Group Policy. Monitor backup and recovery systems. Perform backups and restores as necessary. Perform operating system and software upgrades as required. Participate in monthly server and software patching rotations. Remediate system vulnerabilities as reported by the IT Security team. Track all work in the IT service desk system. Reference and maintain documentation related to system configuration, operational procedures, and system inventory. Provide technical escalation support to Enterprise Support staff and various project teams, escalating to Sr Systems Administrators or Systems Engineers, as needed. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: BS in an Information Technology related field preferred. 5+ years relevant work experiences with a minimum of 3 years in a Systems Administration role Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment. Must be self-motivated, organized, and customer service focused. Must possess effective time management skills to prioritize tasks based on need and criticality. Demonstrates resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. Effective at researching moderately complex problems with minimal guidance, escalating when necessary. Commitment to continuous education and certifications. Familiarity with Incident and Change Management processes based on the ITIL framework. Availability after-hours, weekends, and holidays to support various sports and entertainment events at AT&T Stadium and The Star in Frisco TECHNICAL SKILLS and PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: Knowledge and experience in the following technical areas is necessary for this position. One or more certifications are preferred.
