Job Description Insight global is looking for an inpatient pharmacy manger for a major health system in the Charleston, SC area. This person will be working onsite on the downtown hospital campus. Day to day responsibilities include: Leadership: "ƒOperational oversight of the Inpatient Pharmacy areas. "ƒProvide hands-on leadership and operational improvement subject matter expertise to division specific projects and operational improvement teams. "ƒEnsure alignment to operational plans and strategic priorities. "ƒResponsible for selecting, developing, and deploying staff in the most effective manner to meet assigned objectives. "ƒDemonstrate high influence, motivates, and pushes others to succeed in the organizations vision, mission, and goals. "ƒInstill a culture of continual, real-time feedback that integrates with professional development framework. Strategy/Financial: "ƒCommunicate and guide teams to meet the overall strategic intent. "ƒProvide oversight of budget and variances for areas of responsibilities. "ƒCoach leaders on fiscal responsibility. "ƒEstablish processes to improve efficiencies and drive financial improvement. "ƒIdentify resource needs and obtain appropriate funding/approvals. "ƒPrepare departmental budget and reviews monthly for areas for improvement. "ƒAssist in the development of business plans, Pro Formas, and budgets for assigned projects in conjunction with other project teams. Quality and Service: "ƒAssess staffing across areas of responsibility to ensure alignment with national benchmarks and needs. "ƒEnsure optimal care team member, provider, and patient experience. "ƒDevelop strategies to ensure standardization of patient and provider experiences across all areas of responsibility. "ƒRound with the purpose of identifying opportunities and removing barriers. "ƒCollaborate to ensure highest level of quality, safety, and regulatory requirements are met. "ƒEnsure an environment for creating an exceptionally reliable organization. Operational Performance: "ƒOptimize operations across areas of responsibility. "ƒDevelop and implement strategies to ensure adequate space utilization. "ƒEnsure standardization of operations across division. "ƒEstablish and maintain operational excellence across division. "ƒPartner with leadership across various departments to ensure smooth patient flow by implementing best practices and operational improvements. "ƒCreate a culture where process improvement is encouraged and supported Professional Development: "ƒIdentify top talent and provide opportunities for growth and development. "ƒMentor/coach/support leaders and care team members and support their professional growth and development. "ƒIdentify gaps and develop plans for gap closure. This position requires: "ƒDoctor in Pharmacy Degree "ƒSC Pharmacist Licensure or eligible for licensure within 6 months "ƒMinimum 4 years of pharmacy leadership experience within an inpatient pharmacy environment. Previous academic medical experience is preferred "ƒMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate autonomous action.
