The Role The Enablement Strategist will be responsible for charting the course to deliver AGT commercial objectives across Large Enterprise, Public Sector, Mid Markets, and Wholesale. These objectives include Sales, Revenue, and Seller Productivity targets, which are key drivers of Lumen's growth. This role requires a strong understanding of Lumen's services and commercial model and financial acumen. Excellent communication and leadership skills will be essential: this is an individual contributor role which requires the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization including the SLT. Location This will be a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. The Main Responsibilities Build and own the Value Realization methodology, supporting our largest opportunities and account relationships alongside the Strategic Engagement Team and other Overlays. This includes building a scalable value model to estimate Lumen's impact to customer's revenue, cost, operational efficiency, and risk. Supports >$100M in annual sales contract value. Act as the Product Strategist . With Product leadership, ensure commercial readiness of new services, products, and features. With Marketing, Service Delivery, Sales and CS leadership, align product roadmap to execution capacity, processes, systems, tools, and people. Lead Long Range Planning for Revenue Enablement alongside leadership from Rev Ops, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and CS. Responsibilities include aligning usage-based product strategy with compensation and field role types and ensuring alignment of targets with Enablement programs. Guide Revenue Enablement & Operations strategy for C-level initiatives, including Custom Private Networks, Balance of Trade, and Lumen Digital. Represent the voice of Revenue Enablement to the Wholesale segment and Global Partner Solutions organizations. Understand these organization's priorities and ensure Enablement of support. Partner with revenue leaders and stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize revenue enablement needs and opportunities. This could for example include a quarterly funnel analysis to determine opportunities by segment, module, and cohort, then enacting a plan to capitalize on those opportunities. Measure and iterate programs to ensure the effectiveness of revenue enablement initiatives. What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred. At least 7 years of experience in corporate strategy, product, finance, sales, or a related field. Proven ability to formulate, communicate, and execute strategy. Demonstrated ability to connect relationally with both technical and line of business executives An innovative thinker who is creative in solving problems and bringing opportunities for growth Ability to analyze information, ask questions and gain insights that lead to strategic answers Well versed in all business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations and IT Enjoys ambiguity and can define a path forward regardless of roadblocks or challenges Executive presentation skills essential, including strong PowerPoint and verbal communication. Financial modeling experience recommended. Conversant in common Lumen systems, tools, and processes. Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
