Job Title: Research Chemist Job Description Join our In Vitro Cell Culture team and contribute to cutting-edge research in a busy lab environment. This role involves working with biological samples such as plasma, blood, urine, and feces from both animal and human sources. You will perform basic wet chemistry techniques including pipetting, cell counting, and centrifuging, and maintain and grow cell lines for assays. The focus is on cell culture and handling studies from start to finish, including seeding cells onto assay plates, harvesting plates, and running extractions. You will operate Mass Spec and perform extractions, ultimately processing and analyzing the collected data to identify trends. Hard Skills B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related Life Science degree Tissue culture/cell culture experience (plus) LC-MS experience 1-4 yrs industry analytical chemistry experience Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Madison, Wisconsin. Work Environment Busy lab environment within the Metabolism-In-vitro team, which works closely with the in-life team.
