Manufacturing company looking to a strong EHS Engineer to support the team Great opportunity to work with a growing team Qualifications: Bachelors degree in EHS, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field 2+ years experience in EHS Experience in industrial manufacturing environment Experience performing site walks, safety report writing and investigations, facilitating safety trainings and slideshows, and engineering new/improving current site-safety protocols Job Description The selected candidate will perform site walks of the manufacturing facility, write EHS compliance reports, complete safety logs, perform safety investigations, engineer new safety protocols/procedures, facilitate safety trainings, and interact with their respective departments on-site to ensure they are within safety compliance on all levels (local, state, federal). Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations. Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Provide EHS training and education to employees at all levels. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and trends. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of operations. Manage waste disposal, recycling programs, and hazardous materials handling. Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
