Job Title: Estimator Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to provide precise and comprehensive estimates for environmental and fuel facility projects. The successful candidate will generate accurate take-offs for all construction phases, detailing material costs and labor breakdowns. You will source prices from vendors and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services. You will conduct site visits and participate in bid walks and pre-bid conferences to assess site constraints and logistics. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Junior Estimator to complete bid packages thoroughly, oversee proposal writing, prepare written correspondence and technical reports, and participate in weekly estimating meetings. You will also lead estimating transfer meetings for awarded projects with the construction team and communicate with clients, customers, and government representatives regarding project details. Qualifications: 3+ years of estimating experience Ability to travel on site 5 days a week Knowledge of estimating software 3-5 years of estimating experience in the construction, environmental, or similar industry. Ability to manage and generate project estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 up to $5,000,000 Work Environment Office based out of Farmingdale.
