Job Description As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and timely product designs using SolidWorks 3D software based on customer specifications and custom quotes. Your role includes designing new products and making continuous design improvements to existing equipment. Additionally, you will design with cost efficiency in mind and act as a liaison between fabrication and assembly teams to resolve any emerging issues. Hard Skills Bachelor's degree Proficiency in 3D CAD software Strong mechanical aptitude Soft Skills Cost-conscious design skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Problem-solving capabilities Work Environment The position is located within the product development team in a massive, modern corporate building in Quincy, housing approximately 3000 employees. This site also includes manufacturing and assembly facilities. The design team is large, comprising around 70 professionals including detailers, drafters, designers, project engineers, supervisors, and service support staff. The work environment includes onsite café options, local dining options within driving distance, and a business casual dress code.
