Sr. Finance Analyst Job ID 184212 Posted 11-Sep-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America About the role As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you'll complete a range of financial analysis & accounting activities to process, measure and report operational performance for the Project Management segment of a large client. This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. What you'll do Leads all of the following: client invoicing & funding requests, variable labor management, vendor invoice processing & inquiry support, reclasses & month end accruals, project close out reviews, level 1 expense approvals. Prepares CBRE reclasses, month-end accruals, and supports year end client accrual for outstanding vendor invoicing. Prepares client invoicing twice a month and weekly JDE funding requests. Works with PMO on vendor payment inquiries and maintains the account line of business invoice payment tracker. Conducts other special financial and business reviews and other duties as a partner with PMO. Produces a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses for client. Respond to and resolve complex issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports. Recognize potential issues and conflicts and take corrective action to minimize issues. Facilitate the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. Have a broad knowledge of own job subject area and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. What you'll need Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. PO management and/or AP experience as well as general ledger accounting experience preferred. Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing is required. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive approach. Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Why CBRE? CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Finance Analyst is $80,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the Sr. Finance Analyst position is $96,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
