About the role Under general supervision, performs technical service tasks that support the customer's scope of activity. These tasks are including but not limited to general laboratory coordination, installation, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and/or mechanical equipment. This opportunity is fully onsite in Raynham, MA. What you'll do Releases additional time for lab staff teams to focus on other service offerings. Single point of contact for laboratory tasks, including the planning/scheduling PMs/calibrations and interactions with client systems for services in the lab. Supports routine tasks associated with Functional/Kinematic Tests as requested and directed by Lab staff. Manages, prioritizes, and implements high-quality specialist engineering and coordination support for a wide range of specialist equipment. Oversees service delivery and is responsible for calibration documentation and records. Develops shared documentation, and lab operations governance with key client customers. Escorts visiting service engineers and leads send away items. Helps ensure environmental health and safety compliance, permits, work process, sustainability initiatives and training. The general ordering and management of lab consumables, reagents/detergents Prepare tools/standards used by the specific lab settings for test execution. Sample preparation for testing under supervision, also including monitoring tests and performing autoclave cycles. Prepares environmental/freezer monitoring downloads. Delivers some equipment verifications. Performs audit support, archiving and records retention. Specific Technician support (training to be provided by client). Reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates, and maintains equipment or devices upon completion of repairs. Locates parts sources, estimates costs and prepares requisitions. Coordinates with outside contractors regarding repairs covered by maintenance agreements. Communicates with customer staff and outside contractors in the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment, as necessary. Documents daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed within approved guidelines and procedures. Call out instrument performance concerns or breakdown support for resolution to higher level staff or specialty vendors. What you'll need High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and a minimum of two years of related experience or training. Associates degree in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience. One to five years of demonstrated ability in instrumentation and control or installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment or equivalent experience is preferred. Why CBRE?
