Accenture Tax Strategy & Consulting practice is currently looking for Senior Managers to join our dynamic and growing practice. We are looking for business & technology oriented professional tax Technology experts who will work on the corporate tax function direct tax opportunities, issues, and risks related to finance transformation, chart of account sensitization, direct tax process and reporting automation, and various other business risks and issues. You will provide an integrated approach to process improvement that will help the corporate tax function maximize its strategic value internally and externally. Tax Strategy and Consulting Practice has a direct tax focus in multiple offerings: Value Chain and Legal Entity Optimizations Tax Function Assessment and Process Optimization Tax Operating Model Transformation Optimization ERP platforms and ERP platform data capabilities to support Direct Tax Process and Reporting Automation of direct tax processes including direct tax accounting and reporting, direct tax compliance, and local direct tax reporting using direct tax technology solutions and integration with source data systems Optimization ERP platforms and ERP platform data capabilities to support Direct Tax Process and Reporting Design and implementation of Gen AI solutions for Tax Data Services and Autonomous Direct Tax and Statutory Accounting and Reporting solutions. End to End Tax Transformation A professional at this position level within Accenture has these responsibilities: Find business development opportunities by building both internal and external network of professionals. Lead and prepare responses to request for proposals, including interaction with prospective clients to understand the opportunities and provide solutions to meet client requests. Prepare business case, Solution options, project plans, estimates, staffing requirements and execution approach for the Tax opportunities and use them as part of proposal to the client. Lead the delivery and implementation of projects through all phases, including client interactions, key stakeholders, PMO, and onshore/offshore resources to ensure the project is delivered to the quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Demonstrate though-leadership across areas of income tax, including income tax provision, tax compliance, and internal management reporting to show new tax technology trends, tax solutions, and opportunities in direct tax. Finds, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors based on industry knowledge and client business requirements. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on various matters. When addressing complex scenarios, can articulate alternate options and get acceptance of the alternative approach. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience for Direct Tax Accounting and Reporting for US GAAP, IFRS, and Local Stat for Fortune 1000 companies including: Need considerable experience with US FDII-GILTI, BEAT, Sub Part F, Foreign Operations for IFRS, etc. Need experience with Pillar II Global Minimum Tax Minimum of 10 years of experience in Direct Tax Technology solution implementation (SAP PAPM, Thomson Reuters OneSource, CorpTax, Longview, Tagetik, OneStream) Minimum of 10 years of experience in Direct Tax Sensitization of ERP in any of the following: ERPs (SAP, S/4, Oracle, Workday) and Enterprise Data (Chart of Accountants, Foreign Currencies, Asset Accounting, Project Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Expense Accounting, Time Sheet and Payroll, Investments, Treasury, etc.) Leader on a minimum of 5 tax technology implementations through entire project lifecycle Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (UK, India, etc.) or Certified Public Accountant (USA) Good understanding of the Direct Tax Technology landscape, trends and architecture Good understanding of ERP capabilities (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) for Direct Tax Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Tax and Financial Close processes in a multinational corporate environment (Fortune 1000) Have completed at least three Direct Tax process and reporting automation initiatives in North America and / or EMEA for US GAAP Direct Tax, IFRS Direct Tax, and Local Stat Direct Tax using one or more direct tax technologies (SAP PAPM, Thomson Reuters OneSource, CorpTax, Longview, Tagetik, OneStream) Knowledge in technologies such as Gen AI tools, RPAs, Analytical Engines.
