Position Summary Caremark is the nation's leading pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). We provide personalized support to help people start and stay on their medications, because people who take their medications have better outcomes and lower health care costs. The VP, Payor and Lifesciences will be part of the PBM's Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology (DDAT) leadership team. The Payor Solutions and Life Sciences Organization came together by merging three legacy organizations. This role will partner closely with stakeholders and peers reporting to the SVP and CDTO of Pharmacy services and will be support the president of Payor and Life Sciences organization and would represent all DDAT services to the unit. You will make an impact by: Transition the organization from the business into DDAT. (430+ colleagues and contractors identified). Optimize the technology operations that includes support and develop the best cost model for application and product development and deliver. Responsible for all aspects of technology for the unit. Develop the strategy and the roadmap for the organization. Develop the dashboard for operational services that includes view into availability, security, outages, compliance, security etc. Develop clear product model to assist in: Rationalization of the business product to assist in enhancements, replacement or retirement. Clearly define the active programs and the progress Identify overlaps in organization services and rationalization, leading to efficient and cost-effective service and drive run rate reduction. Develop a talent and leadership in the organization. Rationalize the organization. Rationalize the products services. Establish a consistent and standard support model for all services aligned to the DDAT standards. Identify and prioritize key product and services delivery and establish the team to execute it. Support the business in rationalizing the business products and services. This includes enhancing, modernizing, consolidating, and retiring services as appropriate. Required Qualifications 15+ years of hands-on and leadership with customer experience design, development, and operations at scale. Proven ability to operate in complex, large-scale matrix environments and demonstrable followership. Strong business and financial acumen, able to create compelling business cases and deliver committed outcomes. Excellent communication and presentation skills, to convey complex information understandably to a wide variety of audiences including executives and clients. Exceptional at cultivating relationships, artful at compromise and influence, and effective at collaborating with others to solve hard problems. Strong external network and intellectual curiosity to be at the leading edge of technology trends and opportunities. Inspiring leader capable of building innovative teams.
