Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Per Diem Days Eddy Hawthorne Ridge is seeking a per diem Activities Assistant for our Memory Care Unit. Our campus houses a 54-bed Memory Care, 50-apartment Independent Living, and 12-bed traditional Assisted Living. We have a beautiful bistro on-site, available for made-to-order lunches. Dementia experience preferred. The Activities Assistant is responsible for creating and leading activities programs which reflect resident interests. The Day-to-Day Plan and lead life enrichment programs in accordance with resident interests - 3 to 4 programs each day Know the unique interests of residents and encourage them to participate in program offerings Occasionally drive company vehicle for outings (must be willing to drive 14-passenger van) Incorporate opportunities to foster memorable experiences for residents Ensure materials are left out for all planned activities taking place after your scheduled shift ends Assist in planning monthly calendar of programs Keep activities supplies in neat and orderly condition, alerting Activities Director when supplies are needed Requirements Valid license High School Diploma Pay Range:$16.20 - $23.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
