We treat more than 29,000 patients each year, caring for toddlers, young children, adolescents, and some adults with special health care needs. Nearly 60 percent of our patients have at least one special health care need. Our team is experienced with caring for patients with special needs and anxiety. The Dental Clinic Manager will: Collaborate with Practice Administrator and Executive Director on clinical operations strategy, schedule optimization, and growth plans. Provide clinical guidance and administrative support to Dental Hygienists and Dental Clinic Supervisors. Coordinate daily flow of patient appointments with all providers in collaboration with Dental Attending. Manage daily assignments of dental assistants to doctors, and dental chairs/rooms. Manage payroll and annual review process for Dental Clinic Supervisors and Dental Hygienists. Manage recruitment for dental assistants and dental hygienists. Foster professional and managerial growth & development in Clinic Supervisors. Manage working relationship with Central Sterilization and ensures successful daily case pick up/drop off coordination and inventory management. Manage dental waterline maintenance protocol and supply list, equipment maintenance requests and fulfillment, and exposure testing (radiation health and safety (dosimeters), nitrous oxide). Serve as clinical liaison for QI projects. Work closely with Infection Prevention and Control Team to ensure compliance. Manage and troubleshoots challenges with extraoral imaging. Facilitate instrument and equipment purchasing quotes with vendors. Assist IT team in troubleshooting Dentrix, Romexis, and Epic systems. To qualify you should have: Minimum 3 years' experience including at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree. 1 year of experience in pediatric dentistry preferred. Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred. Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Dental Assistant (CDA) license preferred.
