LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist for our client in Kansas City, MO. The HR Generalist will be responsible for accurately communicating and clarifying HR processes and policies to company personnel, as well as assisting in the organization of general team functions. An ideal candidate is familiar with Human Resources, who can effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees, with the ability to pivot and prioritize tasks. Salary Range: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $55,000 to $65,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.Responsibilities:Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and managers, escalating complex and/or sensitive matter appropriatelyAbility to help implement, support, and demonstrate an understanding of HR department initiatives, policies, and proceduresPlan, prepare, and coordinate employee onboarding including both our Overland Park office and regional office locationsConduct new hire HR Overview presentation and assist with first-day company orientationManage and maintain I-9 forms for all employees, including E-Verify registration process, verifying necessary documentation, and staying current with any updates to citizenship statusesCollect, review, audit, and file new hire paperwork and agreementsMaintain personnel records in both electronic and paper formsMaintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all employee and company-related sensitive informationImplement and expand employee recognition programs and awardsOversee company intranet updates and ensure proper information is in placeMaintain job descriptions alongside HR Managers to ensure accuracyAssist with updating human resources documents, such as organizational charts as neededAnalyze employment-related data and prepare required reportingAssist with daily system updates such as transfers, promotions, title changes, etc.Performs routine tasks required to administer and assist with disciplinary matters, disputes, and performance managementPerforms other related duties and projects as required and assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field2+ years in HR Coordinator or HR Administrator roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailGood knowledge of employment/labor laws preferredProficient knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems experience is a plusDesire to work as a team with a result driven approachOn-site presence is requiredPay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Claire Grossman Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
