Responsible for sales in the IMMC/BCH, MWH & ILH Gift and Flower Shops. This position ensures that quality service is provided to patients, visitors and staff, and that a positive working environment is assured. Understands overall strategy and budget of the department while functioning within operational policies.Assist with inventory systemSupports the Gift & Flower Shop Manager, Coordinator and Supervisor in performing the daily operations of the Gift Shops.Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.(C)Cross trains to assist in Flower Shop as needed. (O)Minimum RequirementsPreferred or Specialized.Education:High school graduate candidateExperience:Retail experience.Supervisory experience.Experience working with volunteersLicense(s)/Certification(s):Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:General office and computer skills, include Microsoft Office and POS systems.Excellent customer service skills.Organized with attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to share knowledge and train others in retail operations.Marketing and promotional skills.Other:Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
